Anat Bendori - Artist | Designer | Illustrator - lives and works in Tel Aviv.

The "double double" world and its characters were created in 2001, while living in the US.
This independent art project first included 4 stereotypical female characters
(sporty, easy-going, melancholic, and intelligent). Other characters, including animals
and children, were additionally created, joined by repetitive texts.


All characters have large round eyes and obsessively say everything twice
just for fun - and good luck.
They are sometimes confused and lost/funny/trendy/urban/dreamy/easy-going and humane.
The characters were printed on greeting cards, magnets, canvases,
T-shirts, and even participated in a movie, “The Bubble”.

Since 2006, I cofounded “Marmelada” website and newsletter, as product manager
and art director, and the DD characters became its branded characters.
